I want to thank all of you for being with us and supporting our mission. Together, we have the power to make a real impact with the strength of numbers. We have worked really hard to prepare for this day... and it is finally here!
It's now Global Giving Day and here is how you can help us make sure that we take advantage of the opportunity at hand!

We have been admitted into Facebook's nonprofit program and now anyone can start a fundraiser through Facebook to support us!
This year, Facebook and Paypal are partnering in order to match up to $7 million in donations. The money you raise for this fundraiser will be matched up and there will be no transaction fee.
Creating your own fundraiser for Code for fun
It is SUPER EASY and SUPER FAST! Here is how you do it
3. In the screen “Who are you raising money for?” choose “Non Profit”
4. Search for Code for fun in Selecting your Nonprofit. When the Black Owl Logo appears, 2 paths
Just push Create Now and you are done
Click on the Code for fun and customize your fundraiser (this will be more effective as you will set a limit and put a picture)
5. Set a goal for your fundraiser and a date
5. Tell your story:
In this section, you can really explain to your friends why you are supporting Code for fun and you are helping us to raise the funds we need for our mission.
Choose one of the 3 fundraiser goals:
#1 - Help bring Computer Science to underserved students: As a leader in computer science education for young learners, Code for fun programs are designed for all students, bridging gender and racial gaps, and encouraging them to consider academic and career paths in the engineering field. Help raise money so that more students can participate to the #CSforALL movement
#2 - Help train teachers: Code for fun is a non-profit organization, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, committed to exposing all students to computer science at an early age. Their teachers’ workshops help train K-12 instructors so they can bring Computer Science to their students
#3 - Help fund HackHighSchool : Code for fun Hack High School program is helping students grade 9-12 to learn important coding skills for their future. This free program is available for all students and soon will be offered to all teachers in high-schools.

A great picture is worth 1000 words! You might have your personal picture you may want to include. Otherwise, we put some pictures for you below, pick the one that fits with your message.
