Oliveira Elementary(Fremont): Creative Computing II 1/24 to 4/11

Oliveira Elementary(Fremont): Creative Computing II 1/24 to 4/11

Explore, imagine and create! That is the core of Creative Computing. The students will document their ideas in a design workbook, then use Scratch to create computational artifacts (like games, animations, music composition) using ideas from their lives and interests. They will reflect on their own projects and learn how to provide feedback on other students’ projects. The goal of this class is to increase fluency with computational thinking and programming concepts.

This class offers opportunities for learners to engage in activities that are personally meaningful and relevant, to engage in designing and making not only listening, observing and doing, to engage with interactions with others as audience, coaches & co-creators, to reflect on their creative process.

This class is designed for students who enrolled in the previous semester to Creative Computing 1. For new students, basic knowledge of Scratch is required.
